Self Reflective

Since the beginning of the English 11 class,  still having the mentalities of a high school student and the writing habits as well. It was difficult to drop since the public school system had engrave a way of writing like the introduction, body, conclusion and that it is the right and only way to write. I do see an improvement in my writing since August and its so interesting on how fast the time has gone. Even changing the way I view a video and trying to understand and view it in a different perspective and how the internet is changing the way people think. Trying to elaborate my thoughts into words so that the reader can try and understand what I see and my thoughts on a video or subject.

Qualitative Research Questions.

1. If you had the chance would you create your own social network platform? What would the features be and would be considered important ?

2. Do you believe that you can get off of facebook today and never sign on for a year? If not why do you think you can not?

3. Does facebook help you voice your opinions better than in real life?

4. How has the Internet helped you in your academic career?

5. If there was a new social network are you willing to leave facebook for it since all your friends are going on?  

6. Would you rather talk to someone in person or through using your phone or laptop? If not, why do you prefer talking online or through texts?

7. Has the social networks that you are involved with helped your relationships in the real world or has it made worse?

When I think of remixes I think about music and how they add a new artist to sing or rap to a song. Most of the time the remix does make the music better because it is the same song but has different twist or feeling to it, the remix is suppose to enhance the song and make it better than the original. In youtube when they make a remix to some thing it is usually changing what the message is or changing the visual aspect of the video to seem more funnier or more interesting than the original. The remix usually has the same visual but the sounds are different or what is being said has changed or it can be another way around like in the video that changes the image of David.

The anti-drug dog video is a user generated video, it is based on a real commercial about teenage smoking.  The video is making fun at the concept of the original commercial of having a dog talk to a teenage girl thats is clearly under the influence in the first place. The video can be seen as ineffective since     the purpose of the video is for entertainment and humor rather than sending a message not to do drugs. The video and the real commercial that aired a few years back are different because the commercial made by anti drug company was shorter and not that funny also the user generated video had cursing in it and was longer.
